About David David retired in 2001 and bought his first lathe in November 2003. Shortly after joining the Grey-Bruce Woodturners Guild, he began taking one-on-one lessons from the late Jeff Parsons and has steadily progressed. As Jeff said, "his enthusiasm and desire to learn are boundless".
During the relatively short time David has been at the lathe, he has produced some beautiful natural edge, square, and delicate pieces like the ones shown in this exhibition. David turns a variety of timbers, but notes a preference for local maple and cherry.
