Big Leaf Maple Burl and Resin Box This box is turned out of hybrid blank that is half big leaf maple burl and half alumilite resin. The big leaf maple burl has been stabilized with heat activated resin, while the alumilte has been infused with cranberry colour mica powder that shimmers with a three-dimensional quality. A small bead adorns the lid where it meets the base, and the lid has pleasant suction fit. Beside the small bead, the form is unadorned, letting the beauty of the wood and resin speak for themselves.
