Candy Dish #5

Candy Dish #5

4" dia. 3.5 high. The dish is box elder burl cast in alumilite resin with red dye and gold pigment. An addition stabilizing was done to add a blue effect to the remaining box elder burl. The lid is a piece of tulip wood and the knob is made from rosewood. Lacquer finish.

Figured Maple Platter

Figured Maple Platter

With a slight defect in the figured maple, a touch of epoxy and metallic turquoise pigment cleans this piece up and adds a touch of charm to it.

Split Bowl

This split bowl was created during a weekend workshop under the guidance of one of our members Marilyn Campbell.

Macassar Ebony, Lacewood, Birdseye Maple and the base is Cherry. The remaining material is Epoxy Resin that was coloured black.
