About Peter

Peter hand crafts unique wood pieces that are made from both local and exotic woods. His work includes bowls, Vases, art forms, wooden writing instruments and other decorative and functional pieces. He makes a number of fascinating items for the Fibre and Weaving hobby enthusiasts.
His love for working in wood is obvious by the care and quality shown in his work.
He has been turning for a long time and now makes woodturning his main hobby. Mostly self taught but with immense help from friends and Internet forums.
He lives in Hanover and also enjoys world travel, downhill skiing and scuba diving.

Fluted Platter

Fluted Platter

The fluting is done with a router mounted parallel to the lathe bed. The index plate is used to align the work piece for each cut.

Reproduction 1914 Model T Screwdriver

Screwdriver handle based on the Screwdriver provided by Henry Ford with the Model T tool kit.
The diameter is 1 1/4" and it is 4" long.
The fluting is done with a Router mounted on the Lathe bed.
