Cryptex

2½ inches diameter by 6¼ inches

Cryptex prototype, as seen the Davinci Code movie, with woodburned lettering. Passcode is LULALU, after Lulu the cat, to unlock secret compartment. Components made from elm branch wood, finished with tung oil.

Red oak and padauk bowl

One of my first turning projects, a 7 1/2” tall x 8” wide bowl from 6 laminated pieces.
